The FAYC Early Stages program encourages students to play, work together, and build confidence, all while inspiring a passion for music, drama, and movement.
Musical Theatre inspires children to dream, explore, think, and connect through imaginative storytelling on stage and in the classroom. Our teaching artists help students to bring their stories to life in a way that inspires them to dream about who they are and may become. We pride ourselves on providing industry-leading performing arts education, instilling professionalism into every program regardless of age. A strong commitment is required from students enrolled in any classes at FAYC.
Classes are held at First Act Youth Company (354 Simcoe Street, Beaverton ON).

Each semester, our tiny performers delve into excerpts from a different beloved musical or movie, immersing themselves in the magic of storytelling, music, and movement. Through playful activities and engaging lessons, children develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills.
The term culminates in an exciting in-class demonstration led by FAYC teaching artists where they showcase what they've learned.

In this class, children explore excerpts from a different musical or movie each term, immersing themselves in the art of storytelling, music, and stage performance. Through engaging lessons and rehearsals, students develop their vocal and acting skills, stage presence, and teamwork abilities.
The term culminates in a performance of an original revue-style show featuring popular musical theatre songs, accompanied by a pianist, giving our students the opportunity to sing and dance to live music.
