Saturdays: April 20 - June 15
The FAYC Early Stages program encourages students to play, work together, and build confidence, all while inspiring a passion for music, drama, and movement.
These introductory-level classes inspire children to dream, explore, think, and connect through imaginative storytelling on stage and in the classroom. Our teaching artists help students to bring their stories to life in a way that inspires them to dream about who they are and may become, to explore stories from different points of view, and to think by connecting with other people and new ideas.
Classes are held at First Act Youth Company (354 Simcoe Street, Beaverton ON).

This program culminates with an in-class showcase on the last day of class, led by FAYC teaching artists. Students will demonstrate some of what they learned through games, exercises, and song and dance numbers they rehearsed throughout the term.
TINY Stages: Ages 3-4
Saturdays 10:30AM - 11:15AM

This program culminates with an in-class showcase on the last day of class, led by FAYC teaching artists. Students will demonstrate some of what they learned through exercises, and more challenging song and dance numbers they rehearsed throughout the term.
MINI Stages: Ages 5-6
Saturdays 12PM - 1PM

As the final “stage” of our Early Stages programming, the end-of-term performance moves from the classroom to the stage! Students will perform a Broadway revue show themed and curated by FAYC teaching artists accompanied by a pianist, giving our students the opportunity to sing and dance to live music.
