NOW ACCEPTING AUDITION SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 2024/2025 SEASON

The COMPANY audition-only program is truly one-of-a-kind. It is designed for young artists ages 15 - 19 who are serious about musical theatre training and/or who have goals of pursuing further performing arts studies at the post-secondary level and beyond.

Supported by a faculty of experienced teaching artists working in the field, students are provided with unique opportunities to explore their true potential in a collaborative hands-on environment. In addition to training in voice, acting, and dance, our fast-paced curriculum includes vocal and acting audition preparation, movement retention techniques, resume building tools, character development studies, one-on-one coaching, improv exercises, and industry-led workshops.

Young artists meet with FAYC faculty from September to June. Classes are focused on technique, skills training, the creation and performance of a student-led cabaret performance, performing at FAYC’s annual fundraising event: Jinglefest, and rehearsing the end-of-year production. Students representing the Company will also participate in community events and performances with a detailed event calendar provided in September.

The year end musical will take place at The Beaverton Town Hall Theatre.

Video auditions are accepted on a rolling basis between October 2024 and May 2025 for the 2025/2026 company.
