Specialized workshops and masterclasses give students the opportunity to work on skills that are not offered on a weekly basis, such as improv, monologues, industry talks, vocal health, stage combat, shakespeare, dance, accent work & more. A great opportunity to work with and learn from industry professionals outside of the FAYC faculty!

DANCE PARTNERING

This workshop is focused entirely on improving, exploring and training partnering skills within dance. Students will learn basic lifts as well as strengthening their ability to connect with a dance partner.

We all love to sing but are we doing it the healthy way? In this workshop you will learn how to adopt healthy vocal techniques and understand the importance of body mind connection and supportive breath control.

MUSICAL IMPROV
with TAYLOR HUBBARD

Do you love improv? Do you love singing? Musical improv is the creative activity of “in the moment musical composition”. Students will work with a Second City improv grad and a pianist to create scenes & songs.
