36 Hour Musical Theatre BootcampOur 36 Hour Musical Theatre Bootcamp is one of our most popular programs– selling out every spot since our first production in 2016. The goal of this program is to develop time management skills, cooperative work, diligence, and to have FUN!
HOW DOES IT WORK? A mystery musical is selected by 6 trained instructors. When the students arrive on the first day, the musical production is revealed! Over the course of 36 hours, students will research the musical, work on scenes, choreography and music. All work and no play will make for some very sleepy students, so FAYC provides meals, snacks, games and a movie before bedtime. ...Right, did we mention it’s a SLEEPOVER bootcamp? The next morning we start bright and early, rehearsing and putting it all together after a warm breakfast. At 7:30pm on the second day, friends, family and public audience are invited to watch the production that begins at 8:00pm! Cellphones are confiscated during the duration of the bootcamp day so that the musical is a mystery even to the audience members and we ensure we have our actors full attention.
